IASTM Therapy / Massage
Mitch (IASTM/Massage therapist) offers a combination of IASTM (Instrument-Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilisation) and Deep Tissue Massage to provide a comprehensive approach to muscle recovery, pain relief, and improved mobility.
These techniques work together to address both surface-level and deep-seated muscle issues, promoting faster healing and long-lasting relief.
IASTM uses specialised tools to break up scar tissue and damaged soft tissue, improving flexibility, range of motion, and muscle function. This technique increases collagen production, enhances blood flow, reduces pain and inflammation, and speeds up recovery time, making it effective for alleviating chronic pain and improving mobility.
Deep Tissue Massage uses firm pressure to target the deeper layers of muscle and fascia, relieving chronic muscle pain, supporting injury rehabilitation, and increasing mobility. It helps break up scar tissue, reduces lower back pain, and promotes stress relief and lower blood pressure.
Shockwave Therapy may also be incorporated if required, which uses electrical impulses to stimulate muscle contractions. This therapy strengthens weak muscles, reduces swelling, alleviates menstrual pain, and helps heal wounds and scar tissue. It's effective for chronic conditions like plantar fasciitis, tendonitis, and lymphatic drainage, while also reducing fat, cellulite, and symptoms of endometriosis.
